God told the Israelites through his prophets about Jesus’ birth thousands of years before he was born.

An Angel tells Mary and Joseph that Mary will give birth to the promised Savior.
3. The Shepherds Tell about Jesus’ Birth
Many of the Old Testament scriptures about Jesus’ birth are fulfilled when Mary gives birth to Jesus.
4. The Wise Men Search for Jesus
The wise men knew that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem. When they saw his star appear, they followed it until they found him. God wants us to seek him too.
The Christmas story is more than just a story about Jesus’ birth. It is a story about how God loves us and planned for us to be saved and live with him forever.
