Psalms 23 Bible Lessons
This series of lessons contains six lessons, one for each verse of the chapter. These lessons are designed for children, preschool through first grade.
Psalm 23:1 – The Lord is My Shepherd
Children learn God loves us and gives us everything we need. He is like a good shepherd who takes care of his sheep.
Psalm 23:2 – He Makes Me Lie Down
Children learn God knows what is good for us even if we don’t. He knows exactly what we need and when we need it.
God leads us through his word, through prayer, and the Holy Spirit. He tells us how to live so that we will be happy and successful.
Psalm 23:4 – I Will Fear No Evil
Children learn that we don’t have to be afraid because God is watching over us. He protects and comforts us when we are afraid.
Children learn we are special to God. He shows us we are special by providing for our needs and giving us even more than we need.
Psalm 23:6 – Goodness and Mercy
Children learn when you follow the Good Shepherd you will enjoy a life of goodness and mercy.
