They provide points of focused attention and reference points. When God created us he put a “dot” in our hearts, a conscious, and knowledge of him. He gives us a reason for living.

As Christians, we are to walk by faith, not by what we see because what we see is not always what we can depend on. Things may look bleak and out of control, but we can know that God is always in control when we put our faith in him.

The Bible uses light and darkness to symbolize life and death. Like artists, we must decide what values are important. We must decide if we want to walk in darkness or follow Jesus and have the light of life. Our decisions will determine our success or failure.
